Our neighbors

While you're downtown, say hi to the block.

Cookeville's WestSide is full of independent makers, roasters, bakers, and shopkeepers who pour their lives into this town. Make a day of it — these are the spots we send every visitor to.

Picasso's Gift Shop

Local artist owned and operated, with 100+ Tennessee artists under one roof — handmade jewelry, pottery, prints, and unique gifts for every occasion.

Vertical Coffee Company

Locally owned coffee shop roasting their own beans in-house. Pull up for a pour-over, a latte, and the kind of café energy that makes a Tuesday feel like a treat.

Gene's Place Pizzeria & Pub

Locally owned and operated. Excellent wood-fired pizza, killer sandwiches, gluten-free options, and a rotating list of drinks on tap. A true downtown Cookeville staple.

Dream Country Brewing

Locally owned and operated brewery with an open-to-all atmosphere. Some of the friendliest folks on the block and pints worth lingering over.

Walnut Street Market

Your year-round indoor farmers market for all your crunchy needs — local produce, pasture-raised meats, raw dairy, sourdough, and small-batch goods from Upper Cumberland farmers.

Meg's Bread

Hands-down the best bakery in Tennessee. Sourdough loaves, laminated pastries, and seasonal treats baked fresh by a baker who loves her craft. Get there early.

West Side Grocery

A grocer for folks who care where their food comes from. Thoughtfully sourced staples, local pantry goods, and good conversation at the counter.

Ralph's Donuts

A Cookeville institution. Order a butter twist and thank us later — old-school donuts made the way they've been made for generations.

Synergy

A true Appalachian apothecary. Herbs, tinctures, salves, and wisdom from these mountains. An absolute must-visit for anyone curious about plant medicine and natural wellness.

FAQ

First time? Start here.

What should I bring?+

Any clean container — jars, bottles, or bags. We have free upcycled jars at the door if you forget.

How does refilling work?+

We weigh your container empty, you fill what you need from our dispensers, then we weigh again. You only pay for product.

Is there parking?+

Free public parking located next to our store on West Spring St. and Church St, behind the store between Walnut Ave. and Church St, and across the street on the corner of Walnut Ave. and West Spring St.

Can I bring kids?+

Absolutely. We encourage small humans in our space to learn about sustainability from an early age. We have a kids' play corner to help keep small hands busy while you shop.

Do you offer workshops?+

Yes — DIY cleaning, fermenting, and seasonal classes. Check our events calendar.

Do you ship?+

Local delivery in Cookeville and shipping across Tennessee for non-bulk items.
