Our story

Built for the next generation of Tennessee.

Cora, founder of Wonderfill

Meet Cora

A jar, a question, a shop.

Starting a business has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. It began at age seven, barefoot by a creek in Macon County, Tennessee, selling geodes and crystals I'd collected at a local festival. With the sun on my shoulders and the sound of water nearby, something clicked — and the first seed of entrepreneurship was planted.

I was raised in Moss, Tennessee, on 80 acres of woodland, creeks, and quiet hillsides. That natural beauty shaped me, and as I grew, so did my awareness of how fragile it is. I knew my business had to do more than sell things — it had to give back, and protect what matters.

I found inspiration in zero-waste stores on the West Coast, but my heart never left home. In 2024, I started building Wonderfill — a name dubbed by my mom on a trip through the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, when she said my idea was "so wonderful it's Wonderfill."

We aren't just a store — we're a movement for mindful living in the South. Just four weeks after opening, we donated over 200 pairs of brand-new shoes to kids and teens in need, out of pocket. It wasn't planned or sponsored. It was simply the right thing to do.

Whether you're taking your first step toward low-waste living or you've been on this journey for years, you belong here.

Our values

What we stand for, on every shelf and in every jar.

Transparency

Every ingredient, every source, every supplier — out in the open. No greenwashing, no buzzwords, no fine print. Just honest products you can feel good about.

Community

We pour back into the place that pours into us. From Cookeville classrooms to Tennessee makers, our shelves and our giving stay close to home.

Less, better

Mindful consumption over impulse. Quality over quantity. We'd rather stock one thing that lasts a decade than ten that don't make it through the season.

Joy

Sustainability shouldn't feel heavy or guilt-ridden. It should feel like a deep breath, a warm welcome, and a little everyday magic.
