Our Story

A Note from Our Founder

Starting a business has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.

It all began around age seven, standing barefoot by the creek in Macon County, Tennessee. I had a small table at a local festival, selling geodes and crystals I had collected from the creeks around me. I wasn’t trying to build an empire, I was just a kid saving up to buy a few more beautiful stones from the vendor who’d completely captivated my imagination. But in that moment, with the sun on my shoulders and the sound of water nearby, something clicked. That little booth, and that big feeling of wonder, planted the first seed of entrepreneurship in me.

I was raised in the heart of Tennessee, deep in the country in a little place called Moss. I was raised on 80 acres of dense woodland, creeks, lush hay fields, and quiet hillsides. The natural beauty of this place shaped who I am, and as I grew older, so did my awareness of how fragile it is. Climate change stopped being a distant idea and started showing up in the weather, in the land, in the world I love. I knew I wanted my business to do more than sell things. It had to give back. It had to protect what matters.

I found inspiration in zero-waste stores and eco-forward brands on the West Coast, but my heart never left home. I wanted to bring those same values, sustainability, intention, and simplicity, to the people and places that raised me. So in 2024, I took the leap and started planning and developing the beginnings of Wonderfill, a business name dubbed by my mom after a trip to visit my grandfather took us through the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Her exact quote upon hearing I wanted to open a refillery was that my idea was "so wonderful it's Wonderfill".

We aren’t just a store. We’re a movement for mindful living in the South.
We offer refillable, plastic-free, and low-waste essentials, but more than that, we offer an invitation: to slow down, to shop with purpose, and to invest in a healthier future for our families and our environment.

And giving back isn’t just part of our mission, it’s who we are. Just four weeks after opening our doors, we launched our first major community giveback: donating over 200 pairs of brand-new shoes to kids and teens in financial need, completely out of pocket. It wasn’t planned. It wasn’t sponsored. It was simply the right thing to do.

We believe business should be a force for good, and we’re here to prove it.

Whether you’re taking your first step toward low-waste living or you’ve been on this journey for years, you belong here. Thank you for supporting a woman-owned, Tennessee-rooted, community-focused small business. We’re so grateful you’re part of this with us.

Our Values

At Wonderfill Refillery, we don’t just believe in doing better. We’re building a business around it. Every decision we make, every product we stock, and every event we host is shaped by the values we hold close:

Simplicity

Sustainability should be easy, not overwhelming. We’re here to make low-waste living feel natural and doable.

Affordability

Eco-friendly choices shouldn’t come at a premium. We’re committed to keeping prices fair so everyone can participate.

Authenticity

We stay true to who we are, where we come from, and why we started.

Quality

Every product on our shelves is carefully selected for sustainability, usefulness, and durability.

Transparency

We’re an open book, about our ingredients, our process, and our goals for growth.

Because small shifts lead to big change. And every refill, every reused jar, every thoughtful purchase, and every act of kindness matters.
